I've been thinking about getting a semi-hollow body guitar lately, but couldn't really make up my mind. I was wondering if you guys can give me some suggestions. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I've looked into various brands in this, and this is what I come up with

1. Gibson Memphis ES-335 $2799 - $3199
Of course this is a nice guitar. It better be, for the price!
Any body know the difference between Gibson Memphis and Gibson CS?

2. Heritage H-535 $1800
Heritage makes some very competitive 335-type guitars out there.
I haven't had the chance to try them out yet, though~

3. D'Angelico EXCEL-DC $1400
I think this is fairly new. A couple teachers in my school just bought them. I was told that they are excellent guitar.

what would be a better choice here?
Or do I have any other choices?
I know Guthrie also has a Gibson ES-335. Is it really worth the money?

thanks!

I'd plump for the Heritage.. I've got a Tokai ES120N and apart from the fact that it currently leaves me stone cold - the Suhr Std has usurped it Shocked it's a fine instrument..

It just needs Stainless Steel frets, A Plek and Buzz Feiton tuning.
