Hey fellow Guthrie Govan fans! I am Jim Adams from Peoria IL USA. I am 45 years old, and I have been playing guitar for 33 years and change.
I have been into Guthrie for about a year or two, and I believe he is the next Eric Clapton. I have recently gotten into his creative guitar books, and have already realized much benefit from them, not to mention that I really enjoy listening to the accomanying CD's by themselves without guitar in hand.
I had been on a two year hiatus from playing and practicing the guitar, and just got a new guitar for my birthday a couple of months ago, and I'm using a Line 6 Pod X3 live through my computer for my rig for now. I hope to, within the next year or so, get two Eganater Tourmaster 4100 half-stacks and maybe a couple of Bogner Alchemist amplifiers so as to really have some chutzpah behind me. I also amp hoping to build a small guitar collection of 10-15 guitars in the coming next few years.
