I've just got back from an evening with Dave K and Guthrie at PMT Birmingham; jaw dropping. No other player has Guthrie’s incredible versatility and unrivalled technical proficiency in all styles. He is without doubt the guitarists’ guitar player – pro players cannot comprehend how someone can be that good. It must run in the family because Seth Govan did a bass solo also tonight that was sick. I just hope Guthrie is recognised for the immense talent that he is within his lifetime.

Yeah I have a problem in that I have a hard time xplaining to people how good he actually is. I sent a few guys to watch him and just said "see what you think, hes quite good", None of them were expecting what they witnessed.
