Assuming GH uses the same chart...
Coming at it from the simplest angle, i.e. the only one I can manage (and not something crazy and Holdsworthian), in the 'B' section you're safe to play C#minor stuff over the first 8 bars (even more simple: C#min pent/blues).
Then you can follow the chords...
- Cmaj7#11 : chord tones...or...C lydian...or...Amin pent
- Bmaj7 : chord tones...or...B major...or...G#min pent
- Emin9 : chord tones...or...Emin pent
Just looking for crafty ways to survive the changes here. You could find a cool line for the Cmaj7#11 which lasts for 2 bars...shift it down a semitone halfway through so it covers the Bmaj7 too.
You could shift before the chord change and sound a bit 'outside' until the chords catch you up
It's all well and good on paper...the hard thing is making it work smoothly...first thing I'd do is slow it all down _________________ SoundCloud
