Danny,
I got soundclick to load and I must say, YOUR FU*King AMAZING. I listen'd to every song on sound click a few times this morning.
Would it be possible for me to get a copy of your bands CD????? I would really appreciate it if you could send me one.
What kind of gear are you using????? If you wouldn't mind going into specific details such as what type of pickups you use........ _________________ I'm still married to my first wife, she's a '59 Stratocaster. Hey guys (62 strat, 59 strat & especially Troy for the nice plug & for doin' a great job on this board),
THANKS SO MUCH for all your kind words, & for taking the time to drop by for a listen-it really means a lot to me. Soundclick.com has problems being down every now & then, but I'm not complaining because
it's FREE. I'm gonna try to build my own website soon, where I can put up more music, pics & video.
Here's the gear:
* 1990 Standard USA Strat w/ Texas Special pick-ups installed & Graphtec saddles also.
* D'Addario 11-50 strings (tuned down 1/2 step)...Extra Heavy or Heavy Fender Picks.
* Ibanez TS10 Tube Screamer-modded to T808 specs (used for mainly clean, fat boost).
* Boss Super Overdrive SD-1 (used for a little more gain/distortion & sustain).
* Boss Super Chorus CH-1 (used for the "Leslie" effect).
* Rogue Wah/Volume WV-201 Pedal.
* Last-but not least, of course...1965 FENDER SUPER REVERB AMP
p.s.-- 62strat, I sent you a PM...
I'll talk to you guys later-take care,

The Super isn't a re-issue, as a matter of fact when I bought it,
Stevie was still alive & the guy who I bought it from at the
guitar shop claimed he knew Stevie. I overheard him say
that he was gonna let him know about it to see if he'd be
interested in it... and he said, "Stevie will love this amp."
I told the guy--HOLD it for me...I'll be back tomorrow!!!
The Tube Screamer, I modded myself, but to be honest
with you, I don't exactly remember what I did...
it was around 6 years ago. I found the info. on some
website that showed you how & what to do to "do it yourself."
I think it was just a couple of resistors & capacitors
which I changed out, because the model TS10 I have
from the 80s, has that special chip needed already in it
& that didn't need to be changed. Shit, I've had that
same Tube Screamer ever since I started learning
to play guitar--20 years ago & I'm still
using that old thing nowadays.
Talk to y'all later,

WOW!!!! You have a european style TubeScreamer..... Nice
I have a question about your Super Reverb, did you redo the grill?? I see alot that are Black material but I didn't know if fender released them with Silver and/or Black grille clothe. _________________ I'm still married to my first wife, she's a '59 Stratocaster. I've usually seen them with the silver grille cloth...
Mine had the black already on it when I bought it,
I like the black look better. It does look like whoever
had it before changed it though, and also the tolex it
had on it was in very poor condition & it was painted
a creme color-it looked horrible, so I re-did the tolex
with black & had the small jewel light switched out
for the larger one & I like it much better.

I can't believe you got such a GOOD wah sound out of a Rogue Wah...
If you read the reviews on musicians friend it makes it sound like they fall apart when they his the open air outside the box.
How long have you had yours? does it still work? I'm amazed by your TS-10 also. Isn't that the european line of TubeScreamers??? when I was looking on Analogmans site it said something about the "longer/lessbox'e" TubeScreamer being european. Do you know if your is? _________________ I'm still married to my first wife, she's a '59 Stratocaster. I've always called her my first wife. She don't talk back to me she talks for me. Man, that's funny as hell ...I know, I've always thought
the same thing about the Rogue. I was actually a little
embarrassed to admit to you guys that that's what I use.
When I bought it for $39.99 from Musician's Friend
I wondered how much use out of it I could get, it's just some
real cheap plastic, it's almost like a toy & it's not even real.
I was really, really broke so I couldn't afford anything more
at the time & I was mainly wanting it for the volume pedal.
I guess I was mistaken, because I've NEVER had any problem
at all with that thing & I love the wah I get out of it. I bought it
in 1999 & I've played everywhere with that thing, from out in
the middle of some dirt yard at icehouses & shit to nice
clubs/clean stages.
About the TS10, I don't think it's European, as far as I know.
I bought it here in Texas back in 1986 & also have
never had any problem with that either... I guess we don't
always need the newest & priciest gear to get decent sounds.

It's funny, sometimes you find piece of gear that's fine for you, even though it may not be the "best" or most expensive. |
