| Definately yes..awesome player. Check out his slide techniques if you can, and also try and watch one of his DVDs, the 74' Irish tour is awesome. Well worth it! |

they've just released a new DVD set of Rory's performances running from 1975 up to about a year before this death. i haven't seen it yet but it's supposed to be much better than the irish tour 74 DVD.
i wish somebody would publish a Rory Gallagher tab book. i ain't good enough to make any progress going by ear - but i would love to cop some of his licks.

| I'll never forget hearing about his death on the radio, i was in the garden enjoying a BBQ with some family members, it made me soo sad. I bought Live in Europe way back in the 70's and have loved listening to his music ever since. |
